PEARL CARE
Pearls are unique. Unlike gems that are mined from the earth, pearls are created by living organisms. They require special care. Here are a few helpful tips to help maintain their sensuous luster:
To
clean your pearls, simply wipe with a soft damp cloth. Do not immerse in
jewelry cleaners. Do not use stream or ultra sonic cleaners.
Pearls are softer than other gems, so store them separately to prevent them from getting scratched. I suggest you keep your pearls in the bag provided.
Store your pearls in an atmosphere that has some moisture. If stored for a long period of time, keep a glass of water in the area.
A pearl's luster is sensitive to chemicals and acids that may be present in cosmetics. Please apply lotions, make-up, perfume, and especially hairspray before you adorn yourself with pearls.
Finally, please refrain from wearing your pearls when showering, swimming, and sky diving.
